This year I will be working on new things I have been planning for a while now on the blog. I hope they come out great and successful, so you guys should just keep calm and watch out 😉 . Meanwhile, am All Shades of Denim in this post, been a while I rocked a denim on denim outfit.
Denim, popularly known as jeans is a ubiquitous piece, virtually every human can boast of a pair of denim. But how you wear it, makes it different from others and fits into your style need. I decided to rock mine like those in the 80’s. Vintage X denim has never been so good. I thrifted both denim pieces from different stores at different times.
The lace up denim top is about a week old, I shopped it together with my best friend and we had no idea what I was going to pair it with but she really convinced me on it. Now am loving the outcome like am going to rock it over and over until the top slacks 😄 Lol! Chanelling the 80’s vintage vibes with the ‘bandit-like’ neck scarf and brogues to match wasn’t bad afterall. When I was styling this look, I was caught between choosing this black brogues or a floral brogues. What are your thoughts on this guys? Do you think a floral print brogues would have been better???
I opted for a brown bag to match my brown belt so the outfit really looks old-skool. I don’t know if it’s only me ooo but I see brown an denim match as an old skool skit. Let the red neck scarf be the pop of color, let my hair be the wire curls that reigned in the 80’s and let my whole ensemble fleek in All Shades of Denim!
That’s how I forgot to talk about my makeup, it had vintage effect too ooo! I chose a soft smoked eye and dark lips , as my mum related as to what was applicable in the 80’s. What do you guys think about this look? Should I do more of vintage outfits?
